This was the view from our suite at The Four Searsons in Cairo. Every morning we'd have breakfast out on the rooms balcony, and look at this amazing view.
They pyramids were about 10KM from our hotel, or a fifteen minute drive. Of course they look a lot bigger close up.
If you ever visit get ready for lots of sleazeballs like this. Who will first give you a give, and then demand money for it. They suck.
This is the second pyramid field we visited, at Shaqqar about 30KM from Cairo.
Obviously someone had taken the statues that used to be here.
